There’s been a ton of controversy over the latest game in the battlefield series. First there was the news of EA selling the best weapons online, causing havoc on the forums and so the decision was dropped. Also, there has been many mixed feelings over the beta which is probably due to Halo and COD4 setting the standard very high.

The official release date has now been announced by EA as June 23rd. How well this game will actually do is debatable but to most Battlefield fans it does seem to be a hit.
